A Proud Moment at Fred de Meulder Nursery: Harvesting Our Bio-Friendly Dahlia Tubers

At our dahliafarm in the Noordwijkerhout, the Netherlands, the season has reached it's most exiting time of the year: we have harvested all bio-friendly tubers grown on our own grounds. From planting and cuttings to flowering dahlias and now lifting the tubers, every step has been handled with care and we learned new things every step of the way.

We cultivate our dahlias fully organic and are currently in the process of achieving the SCAL Bio certification. This year’s results speak for themselves: strong, high-quality tubers that reward a year of hard work and passion.

At our Fred de Meulder Nursery, we also propagate exclusive varieties in-house to guarantee purity, consistency and top performance. This way, we're ensuring that our customers receive only the best tubers. As a true dahliaspecialist, we believe that quality starts at the source. With a successful harvest behind us, we are already looking forward to delivering premium dahlias to growers, traders and floriculture professionals worldwide.

During peak flowering season (July through late September), our nursery is open to business clients by appointment, to see our dahlias with your own eyes and meet up with our dahlia growing team.
